You may now get your own XMPP account directly through here. To get one, I'll need a desired username and password. For obvious reasons, I don't want you to post a reply to this thread with your password. Instead, PM me. I will respond as quickly as I can in creating your XMPP account. It takes 5-10 minutes for the server to create the account after I request it.
Be aware that having a dndxmpp.com account does not give you e-mail on dndxmpp. You will not be able to use your dndxmpp account as an e-mail box, even though the XMPP ID format is user@dndxmpp.com.Also, you may post here with your XMPP username if you want. I won't publish the list publically, mostly for spam protection. You also now have a custom profile field to list your XMPP account --
this field can be for any XMPP account and not just dndxmpp.com accounts. In other words, like I said in N3RD M0M3NT #37, if you have a GMail account and use Google Talk, you already have one. The field is, of course, optional.
I have a few small requirements:
1) You must have at least one post to your account before you will be granted an account. Again, spam prevention. If you have not posted and would like an account, I can accommodate you
if you are a member of the Minion Army and can provide me your SIN # and Minion Army name by PM, just the same as what is required for Army forum section access. If, for some reason, you do not want to register for the forum, but you're still interested in getting an XMPP account here, e-mail me.
elix@dndcommunity.com2) You need an XMPP-capable client. See the list below on xmpp.org. My ability to troubleshoot various clients is limited.
Note: Once your account is set, you can change your password and other user details directly from your XMPP client. I will not be able to see your password, but I can change it to a new one if you forget.

You can also ask any questions on here. Access to the community XMPP will be FREE as long as you have a connection to the net, and there are free clients for most platforms.
