UPDATE:

due to many deciding factors, we're calling off Wedding 2.0 in Jamaica, but we're still going to be celebrating in paradise if you'd like to join us here in costa rica, dawn-a-pa-drew-za style.

depending on exactly where we're at in Irie House progress will determine how many we can accommodate personally. but we can easily help arrange for lodging in the area.

please get in touch with questions either here in the forum or send me an email.

================

you are now officially invited to our wedding!!

Couples resort is giving us another opportunity to promote their newly renovated Tower Isle in Ocho Rios, Jamaica... and we want YOU to join us!!

this is an ALL INCLUSIVE resort where you don't take your wallet out at all once you're on the property. all the food/booze/fun you can possibly handle.

this is a very special trip for dawn and i since we're going to renew our wedding vows on the beach with you guys there to witness it! we'll be married 10 years on september 30th.

all bookings need to go through Nancy, at Island Getaways
http://myislandgetaways.com

so let's use this forum to keep the conversation going.
hope to see you on the beaches of jamaica!!

Do you have to come as a "couple". Chris will be sailing that month so he won't be able to make it, but I would be available. (We were actually in the process of planning a Jamaica trip for November, lol)

Yep, I'm not a couple but I would like to go. I wouldn't mind sharing a room! And Oct 4th is my b-day! I mentioned it to a friend of mine that isn't a listener and he said he might be interested but I'm not for certain.

contacting nancy would be the best idea since it'll be different for everyone depending on where you're flying from. just let her know it's the Dawn and Drew at Tower Isle package.

it'd be so great if you guys can make it!!!

Would absolutely love to come but logistics may be a little tougher from the UK. I'll try and work something out :D

A couple of points - has anyone booked up yet? In the UK, Sandals resorts (I don't know if this specifically is one, but the logo is on MyIslandGetaways site) are well-known for not allowing same-sex couples. I hope I've simply missed an announcement and they've retracted this, but I don't think they have :( Which is awful. Also, if some of us who would be travelling alone (including me) want to pair up with other people in order to book, we'd then be restricted to mixed sex pairing. A little more difficult.

Any clarification that you know of on this Drew? (or anyone else?) Also I'm going to email Nancy and see what the score is on booking for singles.

If there are any midwesterners that are solo, I might check into making it!

I'm in southern Missouri.
